it’s been too hot to go birding and sometimes it’s so hot i don’t hear any birds out, so “too hot for birds” has become my go-to phrase for describing the weather

yellow throated vireo is a recent new lifer! it was so tiny and high up and hard to see, but i managed to capture it!

P1: 5PM - Whats in the tree? P2: ITS HAWK SEX P3: I’m knocking on the post for a bike sign and sampling it with my phone P4: walking with moss. moss says “something something pikmin bloom” and i look at them lovingly P1 - car parked in front of an orange juice place. we stopped here for pikmin bloom stuff P2 - 6PM moss shops for flowers and their hair makes me swoon. they have a tiny ponytail and i think it’s really cute. P3 - I’m holding up chicken thighs. i bought chicken thighs. P4 - 7PM dinner! honey soy chicken, lots of rice, broccoli. yum! P1 - 8PM We watch Wish Dragon. It’s good! :) me and moss are watching in a tablet, cuddling P2 - 9PM IDK i think we cuddle and chat. [actually we looked at reels and fed a roommate’s pet axolotl] P3 - 10 PM moss tells me i should try doing hourlies P4 - time to go home. 11PM it’s weirdly hazy outside. pretty! 12 PM (i meant to put AM oops). birds eye view of me sleeping with a bright lamp on.

I am looking at birds on instagram panel 3: potty time. a word bubbles with the word “fart” comes from a closed door panel 4: text conversation. mom says: when are you going to need the car? i reply: “like 12, but i can leave later” panel 1: 10 AM - work on zine (i am writing “spotify sucks” on a tablet) panel 2: 11 AM - learn music for performance. i am playing piano panel 3: text conversation. moss: “how much longer?” me: “idk.” panel 3: 12 PM - hang clothes on door frame lol. i’m putting a tshirt on a hanger onto the doorframe panel 1: 1PM work on music panel 2: text conversation. me: “leaving now.” moss: “ok im stinky” panel 3: a blimp flying over traffic panel 4: 4 planes flying close together, well coordinated. panel 1: trying to go to trader joe’s. but i got overwhelmed panel 2: 3PM - im hugging moss. i say im hungry panel 3: ham egg and cheese sandwich panel 4: 4PM - wood ducks! new lifer.
