In my work life I have had some extraordinary clients.

Yeets. The photographer caught the winning male racer exiting the single track forest section (it was dark and raining FWIW) just as he lapped me. We are both approaching the finish line, He's on lap 5. I'm on lap 4. Even in my 60s, I love #bicycle riding, and racing.

When you show up to race in your local community Wednesday cyclocross and remember that a US National MBXC Champion and her team live in your community. Emily smoked the women's field, lapping everyone. Her male teammates smoked me, I was lapped by the entire leading group.

Reading some of the OGs. Thinking. Good discussions with a few of the NGs. We are putting together our week by week plan. Partly reactive. Mostly proscriptive. They are realizing folks are gonna die. Likely a lot of folks. Such is the way when living under authoritarian rulers.
