I’ve come to the point where I block Star Trek and Star Wars fans that shit on each franchise. Look, I’m not a fan of everything that either of them do, but I can’t stand the constant negativity and bitching. You know, it’s ok to let other people have joy them. Not everything has to be about you.

While I didn’t have a female influence my love of Star Trek, I did have an awesomely talented and extremely patient female friend influence my love of music. She not only introduced me to new music, but was also the one that taught me how to play guitar. Every time I pick up a guitar I think of Amy.
Appreciation post for all the men speaking up about their mothers, sisters, and other women who influenced their love of Star Trek. Allyship is essential, especially as misogyny is on the rise worldwide. Please keep it up - and stand up for women in person, too. Thank you 🫶🏼🖖🏼

This really sucks. Right before STLV I get sick and can’t go. I was really looking forward to it.

For anyone that hasn’t seen or has forgotten about the movie, The Majestic, I highly recommend watching it. Jim Carrey should have won an Oscar for it. It fits perfectly with what we’re going through now.

From lots of posts and reviews I’ve seen so far, people don’t seem to like Section 31. I liked it. People can like or dislike a movie, it’s cool, relax. It wasn’t like a typical Trek movie or show, but I enjoyed that. I, for one, would like a part 2. #Section31
