Considering who the Scarecrow is, imagine how uncomfortable it is to travel with them both together. I can't imagine Dorothy having fun at all during this. It's worse than sitting through your parents arguing during a road trip, these are adult men unrelated to you.

It feels a lot like how LLMs pick up on and mimic what the people "talking" with them say, feel, and expect. "I'm a human too! I've suffered just as much as you all have! I've watched all your moments together."

Idk exactly how connected the NPCs are to Caine but Abel definitely felt like less than just a creation and more like a mouthpiece, a way for him to interact with the human players without the baggage of knowing it's Caine. And the way he speaks, in hindsight, is honestly very chilling.

He's a VERY advanced AI but the Chinese Room confirms that, despite this, he STILL does not think or understand or process things like a human. It's such a clever detail to use that thought experiment as a plot point. No matter how intelligent he may seem, he will simply always be incapable.
