Slowly making progress, but really happy with results so far. Especially with the sprites of the newly implemented enemy, the bedbugs.
I think the main challenge will be making a level layout or requirement to summon the boss who needs to be defeated to win.

Made some decent work on game today, improving the backgrounds and adding the first enemy, the Batterflies.
Hopefully I can find ways to implement enemies, though, and more sense of horror to boot.
Any ideas for especially the latter, I will be grateful for.

With nearing less than 8 days left, I'll have to really hope I don't get distracted too much, and just have enough time to make a functioning game.
On the plus side, I've started experimenting with lighting for the player sprite as well as a flashlight mechanic for the mouse.

Been making decent(?) progress on the gameplay, but I'm still trying to figure out how, or if, I should include choices that could allow certain monsters to appear, adding some replayability? Not sure it'll be done in time for submission if I go that route, though.
