They could even introduce a tiered approach. First x amount of sales stay on the current model and anything after that is a minimum of 5% or 10% rev share.

Steams revenue is estimated at $10bn. I expect it's actually more. I think they can afford to give small studios a cut in the % of Rev share. They're also a private company so the number of wolves at the door looking for a constantly growing ROI is small, they are in full control of their destiny
