Check out Yannick's trans Canada Trail: from dream to reality. He showed up in our town on his way and we housed him for a night. Interesting trip he was on dependant on good will of strangers.

Perhaps there are alternatives to active protest. Not everyone has the courage, standards or courage. Letter-writing, water for protest routes, financial support for legal challenges etc. The street is not the only act of hope, perhaps???

Ha, yeah...I am just starting to figure this platform out. It is a gentler more hopeful place to be! I may end up changing the way I use FB - it has become essential source of local tidbits of news - from a lost cat to a restaurant menu. :)
