I was listening to the wireless and someone grumbled that the host had said ‘different to’ instead of ‘different from’ and I realised that I am probably being quietly judged for misusing all sorts of words and phrases. Fortunately I have very little interaction with other humans.

A former colleague described someone as ‘mummy cuddled’ and also used the phrase ‘pigs and troughs’. I can’t judge. Genuinely and generally, decimated, pop shot. It’s a whole new World.

Ah. My Dad took me to all of those 70s & 80s blockbusters. I think he quite enjoyed Raiders of the Ark. We sat on the left hand side of the auditorium so he could smoke. Our projectionist was Reg. Good old days.
