and get close enough to just trivialise tetra mobility with the radius. its esp bad on maps with a lot of verticality and ledges bcs tetra struggles on them whilst sblast shines. def not impossible like with .52 but just another common matchup thats an insane skill check every fight

i dont give a shit abt the features they're adding involving the new joycon functions, they all seem gimicky, it doesnt justify having to pay a fee and they should just scrap the 'switch 2 edition' shit. just let it be backwards compatibility that lets it take advantage of hardware like with ps5

tbh though i like all of them there are just a few more i prefer and i was hot off the press of the presentation being generally underwhelming to me, chikorita is still my fav of those 3 at least😭

its not bad to like them lol, its subjective, i personally dont mind them but theres a bunch of combos that i and (from what ive seen) others wouldve preferred especially with the decision to have 2 johto mons

in general though it wont be that bad as long as the megas are cool as fuck which i think is likely i think at the very least despite being forgettable on their own they all have very high potential for megas in my eyes

maybe im just misjudging the general popular opinion but like i feel that gen 2 has the most forgettable set of starters like the fewest people care for anything besides typhlosion. i think tepig is pretty likeable though even though i personally dislike it

idk i mean even from a pool of 2, 5, 4, 7 (taking into account arceus starters from those being absent) there are so many better combos, having 2 johto just makes no sense to me when there was no restriction to do otherwise
