toggled it off. at least it was easy to find
the “Content and Media” section of bluesky’s settings. the bottom two are toggled on, named “Enable trending topics” and “Enable trending videos in your Discover feed” respectively.

i was otherwise thinking of scenes from the black rider, where the furniture was freaking huge.
a scene from the 1990’s teleplay of the black rider. the furniture, two tables and a chair, are 2d plane drawings angled(?) towards the audience. one of the chairs is around human height, and the other two are about three times higher. another scene from the black rider. this time the two chairs and table are from a profile angle, the table too high on stage to see the top. the two chairs are tucked under it and facing each other, and they are over twice the actors’ heights.

this is my mayor btw. on the verge of tears at all times
a customized player sprite from settlemoon the game. it is a pixelated yellow bee with wings, brown antennae, a light brown robe, and a wand shown against a black background. the big eyes make it look like the eyes are watery, or are perhaps two-holed buttons. it seems up to interpretation; i chose the former. shrug the same bee from the first picture, sitting on a chair next to a table.
