He misspoke, he meant "toxic".

Since it's illegal for the OMB to fire furloughed federal employees, they are trying to force the furloughed to quit of their own volition.

I suspect this will be more of a pick-a-side meeting.

Honestly, I've never considered Apple TV, but that's more due to my not being particularly enthused about their products. They're probably okay, just not my preference. We've tried to avoid the "smaller" streaming services.

I see no difference between being detained to be turnover to LEOs, and being arrested. It's what law enforcement does all the time: hold someone until the agency with jurisdiction arrives on the scene.

The National Guard is performing as law enforcement.

Well ... they SAY that's where it's all going. The Guard has been sleeping on the floor. No hotels, no cots, no sleeping bags. Where's the money going?

... and that under UCMJ Sections 90-92, you have a duty to refuse unlawful orders.

Call the GI Rights Hotline confidentiality: 1-877-447-4487.

I honestly think it's time for all governors, not just Gov Newsom, to withhold taxes from the feds. Each state should hold them back and deduct from them those federal dollars that are no longer being received.

But even Title 10 doesn't give him free reign...

"Orders for these purposes shall be issued through the governors of the States..."

They don’t actually care about support. They just want power, and they’ll lie, cheat, and bot their way to it.

What they wear under their robes is none of that principal's business.

IIRC, the murder charges and conviction were at the MN State level, so a federal pardon would only remove a concurrent federal sentence, which is shorter so it would not reduce his actual prison time.

I suspect MN State Police would be outside the federal prison to take custody when he's released.

If executive orders lead to illegal actions, *those who carry them out* are liable. It's about target the individuals who choose to act unlawfully. And if it's done in *state courts*, there's no federal pardon to save them.

Power unchecked still needs willing hands. No hands, no harm.
