I saw it twice in 70mm, and once or twice on Blu. I'm still reminded of how much I like the cast. The 35mm live action is very grainy, but the 65mm VFX work is pretty stunning. Especially Jupiter, which used very early CG.

I remember seeing this with my dad – we were both fans of science fiction and 2001. We both had a 70mm good time, and to this day, I have a real soft spot for it.
