Huge thanks to the dude in the theater who, when everyone at the table lined up for the photo, blurted out: “IT’S THE LAST SUPPER!” I don’t think any of us would have caught the subtle reference without him.

I heard from someone working in network television about ten years ago that they were urged to write frequent recaps and have the characters explain what’s happening visually. Theatrical movies have been doing this lately, too. It’s why THE HOUSEMAID is so damn long.
