Why are these always so cute. This is manipulation! And it's working...

The setting and buildup was great, I really enjoyed the first half. That the movie isn't actually about a civil war was fine. But I felt very underwhelmed by the ending. It just fell flat.

(Kirsten Dunst was great, the role fit her perfectly.)

Life is full of unfortunate events, at some point you have to learn to accept and let it go.

Indeed, the FSB also has an effective weight reduction program called GULAG

That's just their way to assert dominance.

I got my nephew a big chemistry set last Christmas. I hope it will spark some interest in science.

It's real but from last year.
December 25, 2024 at 6:11 PM
I wonder who's gonna be the villain in this tale.

Why not mention this is from last year?

Ohh the nostalgia 🥹

haha, equal amount of disgust and confusion possibly?

At this point the question seems to be "when" not "if" this will become a pandemic. I wonder how many people will refuse the vaccine due to it being mRNA-based.

Agree, but maybe we should just stop giving it attention instead of bringing it up all the time on here?

Very true.

I'm fairly new here and the amount of AI trash in my feed is staggering. I wonder if there's a script or something to block those single-purpose AI accounts?
December 4, 2024 at 4:18 AM
How many more of these fake AI photo accounts do I need to block until the algorithm understands I don't want this in my feed?
December 4, 2024 at 4:08 AM
You mean he asked AI to do it for him? 🤔

I'm on Windows and my choice is LM Studio lmstudio.ai, just because I like the clean and simple UI. (It helps to have a GPU with a large VRAM to load the bigger model versions.)
LM Studio - Experiment with local LLMs
Run Llama, Mistral, Phi-3 locally on your computer.

I'm going through that same experience right now and discovered that there's a third state between dead and alive: the zombie plant. My monstera deliciosa is unrecognizable, small leaves, crawling on the floor, not sure if it wants to live or not.

Kind of looks unreal. I've only visited once during the summer heat.
December 3, 2024 at 5:37 PM
I even assemble my own computer. This was pretty common in the late 90s / early 2000s but nowadays I feel like I'm the only one doing this.
December 3, 2024 at 4:59 PM
With AI it's going to get so much worse. Buckle up.

My condolences, again.
