this year's art summary!! honestly this whole year felt very sluggish, it was difficult to get the drive to do or finish things, some months went by with barely any art. im very proud of what i have drawn this year, but i think ive been burning out more and more as time goes on.

helldoggy! pokemon fusion design for a friend!
A Cerberus-like canine design stands aggressively against a neutral solid background. Two of its three heads are skulls,, with flaming necks, while the middle one has flesh and skin, and chains go around its neck. All three heads have large horns and thick collars with skeletal designs. The body is bony and made of flame, and the wings are a grey fabric that appears to be burning. The tail is long and is covered with tattered fabric, with a decorative band similar to the collars in style near the base, a chain coming off of it.

Page 20 of the comic Hush. The page opens up on the treehouse city of Asteria, being rocked by a thunderstorm. A Swadloon with purple-pink eyes stares out the window at the scene with a forlorn expression on her face. Someone calls her name, Violet, from behind her. She turns around to face a Sewaddle with a blue-purple bow and eyes, looking worriedly at her. As the Sewaddle asks Violet if she is ok, and Violet reassures her, we see that the room they're in is packed full of herbs. Violet the Swadloon is seated at a table on which is a morter and pestle, some kind of candle-powered heating device, several glass bottles, and a small shelf of herbs. Violet stares back out the window, telling her young Sewaddle sibling that she just has a bad feeling today.

page 20. to Asteria!
Page 20 of the comic Hush. The conversation between Kyo, Roheline, and Pierre is interrupted by the Musharna Esther, who warns the group that if they're going to Asteria, they should be careful not to spread panic. As Esther comes closer to a pokemon afflicted by the magic sleep in order to assist them, Kyo takes a drag from his cigarette. He then asks Esther if they know of anything in Asteria that could help. Esther replies that conventional methods haven't been working, that a special herbal concoction might work, but that many pokemon are so deep asleep they could only wake up from inside the dream. Kyo responds by saying that they need to try anything that may work, and tells Pierre to go find an herbalist and to stay low. Pierre saluts eagerly, and heads out into the stormy forest city. Roheline turns to Kyo and asks what they are supposed to do while waiting, to which Kyo replies that they will monitor their friends. The scene begins to transition.

Page 19 of the comic Hush. Kyo watches the scene from the last page unfold with a concerned look. He scratches his head, noting that he was not the only one who "took a nap". Pierre and Roheline notice that he is awake, and rush to his side. Roheline asks how he awoke, when the others won't wake no matter what they do. Kyo says nothing on how he was awoken, only that whatever it was won't work with the others. Pierre jokes that they will have to have life-sized dolls for teammates now that they're out of ideas, attracting the ire of Roheline. As she threatens to fry the jellyfish pokemon, Kyo lights a cigarette and asks if anyone has gone to Asteria for help.

Page 18 of the comic Hush. Kyo the Sableye is on the ground, taking a moment after waking up from the nightmare. Someone is bickering next to him. He sits up, rubbing his eyes, and looks over to see his teammates, Roheline the Manectric and Pierre the Frillish arguing over the other sleeping teammates. Turning away from them, he views the rest of the room- other guildies are either deep asleep or trying to wake the sleeping ones. Outside the room, a thunderstorm can be seen.

Page 17 of the comic Hush. A scratchy, undetailed rendition of Kyoya is drenched in blood, his mouth and eyes a black void, as he cries out in agony and despair. Behind him, his name is being cried out in large red font. It is a scene of red chaos. Interrupting the red chaos, in small blue font, is the name Kyo. Someone calls out to Kyo, a vague purple shape with large ears and fluff, telling him this isn't real, and telling him to wake up. The bright blue gem eyes of the Sableye Kyo open up, the sight of a Toxicroak reflecting in the gems.

Page 16! now we know...
Page 16 of the comic Hush. The severed head of a dream ghost Typhlosion rolls on the ground. The Typhlosion is wearing pauldrons with the same logo that our protag Toxicroak was wearing. The next frame zooms out a bit, and we see a dream figure Garchomp standing over the dead body, blood on their blade-wing. They wear a different emblem. They are breathing heavily, and call the Typhlosion a chump between breaths. Immediatly after, they get stabbed in the back by our Toxicroak. Around the two, chaotic scenes of war unfold. Slight time skip, and the Toxicroak is slicing through an enemy Serperior, changing focus to a Boltund. He is looking more worn down. Slight time skip. The Toxicroak is covered in wounds, blood, and grime. He looks desperately around him as his allies call for help, calling his name. His name is finally revealed to be Kyoya.

Page 15 of the comic Hush. The unnamed Toxicroak is showered with praise for his battle prowess by the adoring fans. He waves confidently as they cheer him on and with him luck in the war that seems to be occuring in this point in history. Behind the Toxicroak, a flag waves bearing the symbol of the kingdom, the head of a Kingdra. The Toxicroak's name and the eyes of the dream figures continue to be censored visually with glitches. The bottom of the page is a darker color, and a splash of bright red blood interrupts the bottom right corner.
