I just found out that Tangents was ending through this post. I still have 23 episodes left, but this is my favorite podcast of all time. I can easily say that because I’ve only ever listened to at least two or three other ones, but Tangents was one of the few times I found something I actually liked

It’s not heading towards bankruptcy quick enough

I remember I asked someone for an invite code to join Bluesky about a year ago, and then I stopped using it because I didn’t know anyone on it. I was unsure if Bluesky would ever be successful, since many people would come and leave, but now I’ve noticed way more people I know making accounts lately

Bluesky was always my preferred Twitter replacement. It didn’t have that much people a year ago, but after the recent surge I’m actually seeing accounts I’m interested in now

I just hope Musk keeps fucking up so this app gets more users. I can’t count on it but I can only hope

Investing in anti-harassment tooling and T&S sounds like something the Elon itself can’t do

I don’t even use Twitter to post normal tweets anymore. All I use it for is to complain about Elon Musk. I don’t care about my account because I was not that heavy of a Twitter user to begin with

I’m glad more people I recognize are on this platform

I know he renamed Twitter to X because he wants to make it a super app, but I’m looking forward to it falling apart like every other attempt at this in the United States so far

The logo is pretty nice. I like it. I’m glad there’s a symbol that represents Bluesky now. I do think the site could use a gimmick, such as how people who post on Twitter “tweet,” how people who search things online “google” something, or how when someone is doing DoorDash they’re “dashing”

I mean I don’t even care about the fact that they’re pushing a political agenda, even though I preferred it when Twitter was left-wing anyway, as much as I do over the fact that Elon Musk killed the concept of a tweet, which was made the site special, sort of like how “google” became a verb
