I wish the timing could have been better! But when you're a volunteer-run group, the optimal timing isn't always available. The best we could do is hurry up so that the video doesn't end up released even sooner before Riptide.

I definitely see where you're coming from! Internally, we discussed many different versions of this publication, some more, some less revealing, and in the end, what you watched today was our best attempt at balancing the potential downsides.

I appreciate your nuanced take and that you actually watched the video! However, I don't follow why you're saying we "failed her" and "mishandled her case".
She sent us a claim against Gem, and we ended up not agreeing. That was a careful decision based on (some of) the facts we share in the video.

Talking about these kinds of things in public is the very last thing we want to do. Unfortunately, Six publicly used those very case details when she made those damaging claims about us.
I believe that in the context of the whole video, it becomes clear why this situation is so unusual/exceptional.

To clarify, the "legal process" that Six talks about is that Gem has filed a civil suit against Six. Six's original claims are no longer under legal investigation.
If you watch the video, we actually put a lot of effort into explaining why we published this.
