Trauma isn’t just what happened—it’s what lives in your body now. For queer people, it’s the hypervigilance, fear of intimacy, or the voice saying you’re not safe. Healing starts by seeing triggers as protections, finding safe connections, and remembering: trauma shapes you, it doesn’t define you.
