Not only is this obviously untrue given the hundreds of thousands of people kicked out of conservative homes, but the number is likely even greater for trans kids in conservative homes... they just don't feel safe to come out to parents that would want them dead.

I think it's leading to much worse than all of those. In all of those scenarios there was a very real chance of things getting better even if the worst came. In world War 2 the rest of the world was poised in opposition. Now it's just us.
