I understand from the police force concerned that the situation is being actively "monitored".

Regardless of the validity or otherwise of any case, the cops have a duty of care and in my view fundamentally failed because all the warning signs were already there.

Regardless of what people think about ANY complainant in a criminal investigation it is not for the public to determine or attempt to influence outcomes from a criminal case. It is certainly not for social media to do so and anyone stupid enough to try is asking for legal difficulties imho.

Not only regarding witnesses being intimidated [a complainant in a criminal investigation is clearly a witness to the investigation btw] but also attempting to pervert the course of justice, contempt of court, rehab of offenders, harassment, mal comms etc
