This is a new A4-sized artwork I created for the cover of my art book. It took four months to complete. For me, the paper size is large, and the production period was the longest I've ever spent on a piece.

Japan has a beautiful bird called the Kawasemi. Though flashy in appearance, it's a rare bird that can sometimes be spotted even in the irrigation ditches of residential neighborhoods. It's probably the most beautiful bird you can see up close in Japan.

This is the most common wild bird in Japan, the sparrow. They are not particularly strong among wild birds, and it is said that their population is gradually decreasing every year. There is no doubt that the heat is one of the causes.
