I have a lot of Thanksgiving work ahead of me for the folks in our little overnight shelter, so I'm taking a moment of gratitude for friends, experiences, and creative work in my life. I'm grateful to have so many things and people to love 💕

If you are trans or non-binary, you are part of a great and proud lineage, stretching all around the globe, all the way back to antiquity. You should feel what you feel on any given day, but never let any government or any authority or anyone make you believe you're unnatural and undeserving of all the beauty life has to offer. Never forget there is nothing more frightening to the inauthentic than living, breathing, loving proof of the unapologetically authentic. Love yourself for who you are, give thanks for those who came before and taught us to love ourselves as we are, and remember that your existence is an ongoing catalyst for the liberation of all those around you, trans and non-trans, who are forced to be what they are not. You are a miracle of the human spirit.

My latest knitting is for a tiny baby doll my mom stuck me with a few years ago. In the midwest tradition of lawn geese or seasonal garden banners, mom says Baby's outfit has to be changed at the start of each month. Currently working on a farm-theme outfit for Baby for February including Capt. Oink
