I had this weird moment of like, generational stonership when I looked across the room and saw my dad dejectedly rolling a J after my mom said he couldn't have a gummy. But I thought that wasn't fair, so I cut off some of my gummy, stuck it to a cookie, and secretly palmed it to him.

I also want to have a word with the rabbi that decided to try and fix the variable length of a cubit (the length between elbow and middle fingertip, which varies person to person) by breaking it down into further variable measurements based on hand size, which varies much more wildly.

anyway did you know that Gilgamesh had a 3 cubit stride, and the south wall of a Tabernacle according to the book of exodus is 100 cubits long?
but Sumerian and Hebrew cubits are different lengths, meaning that instead of 33 steps, it'd take Gilgamesh roughly 31 strides to cross a Tabernacle
