Like who knows how many years past before she woke up after she died, and even then for her to get all of her karma to be revived, at that point would it even be worth it anymore?

Wouldn't staying a cupid after everyone you knew died be more "fun" more "exciting..." less lonely...

I don't know Japanese well enough to verify the above point, but Chiyo was also supposedly a very popular name during the Edo period

I don't know a lot about the Edo period to know if the fashion is accurate, but I think it's really cool to think about

Also interestingly, the name "Chiyo" means "thousand years; forever" (supposedly, from my research anyway) which would also support that since name meanings seem to be important to the story, with Koharu meaning "small spring?" like how cherry blossoms only last for a short time

They've literally called her "mysterious," she shows up out of no where often, 50 targets is nothing to her, and she clearly cares about the art of being a cupid

She could easily destroy Koharu in a fight, but she always uses it as an opportunity to teach her something valuable

I think it's interesting that when shot with a love bullet, Chiyo doesn't throw a big fit of envy, but is almost defeatest in thinking she will never be loved

It's almost like she's been waiting a long time and has given up on the idea of it
