Game store here: nobody buys Monopoly, except as gifts. Then nobody plays it. It's a fundamentally bad game that you have absolutely no agency over. If you're lucky enough to land on the right spots early on, you will win. There's no skill, no choices, and no real fun. Bad game, 0/10

Long ago, in a bygone era, when computers produced only monochrome games, I discovered the Ultima series. The graphics? 8-bit, one colour. The sound? You can imagine it, tinny and sad, but the music was well-written. The story though... the story sucked me in and kept me there forever.
