Yesssss 💜 as a woman of colour, I kept gaslighting myself into thinking I’m not writing well because I won’t sound like a white woman writer. It took me a while to deprogram my own colonised mind to see the wonderful MANY writers of colour that changed my worldview and empowered me to write.
