The novel War Of The Flowers is a brilliant fantasy story. The protagonist often gets into trouble and is wildly berated because he doesn't understand the rules in the world of Faerie. He is accustomed to the USA and constantly is bewildered by the skewered yet logical rules of the land. Great book!

I believe he wrote it for his kids, presumably as a bed time story.

I agree, although between 500 and 999 million they are still fair game, except only manual weapons like swords and bow & arrows are to be used.

There's loads of well paid work for me offshore in the Gulf Of Mexico, working on oil and gas projects. I can get a B1 visa easily enough but with all the Mango Mussolini memes I've been sent and shared from my US aunt & uncle I'll not be going until this bellenderous administration are out.

Only place I ever got any peace when I lived at home. Read all of David Eddings and Raymond E Feists on the bog over a couple of years.

I grew up on Heinlein books, and do genuinely love a few of them.
I'm very glad I wasn't his daughter, or a young female around his household though...

Hope neither suffer any long term injuries, the looked terrifying for both. As ever the marshals and medical team do amazing work.
