My in laws house just burned down in the fires. The one thing they’re happy got destroyed was their Sonos speaker.

I mean, of all days, today is the day to do it. There’s going to be far fewer people on the roads.

Only that the water level has dropped significantly, to the point that there are worries about there being enough water for downstream (socal and the southwest). Also impacts the dam’s ability to generate hydroelectric. An agreement was recently reached among the states to conserve water.

Kinda scary also, the white rock being the amount lake mead has dropped :/

My in laws gave me a fancy French work shirt, it came with a little bag. I bought my wife fancy aesops shampoo and conditioner. It came with a little bag. Who is carting their $50 shampoo around in a little bag? Why does my work shirt need a cute little bag? Why all the bags?

I was there a couple weeks ago and was impressed by the access to public restrooms also. There’s restrooms EVERYWHERE. And they almost all have incredible bidet equipped toilets, and they are all clean. It’s amazing.
