There's a TON of reasons to think Manfred should quit, and I agree with a lot of them. I'm also sick to death of sports gambling ads; I think they should be banned. I'm just tired of people acting like it's hypocritical to punish players for breaking the cardinal fucking rule.

The concept of gambling is not immoral, and the rule is not a moral judgment. It's not about players being wrong for having been in a casino. This is about undermining the concept of competition. It's NOT hypocrisy to have betting sponsors and still punish players for betting on their sport.

I'm American, but I know multiple Canadians who wouldn't cross the border the first time around. Have to imagine they feel the same way today.

That and the tendency towards yelling bad opinions in the name of "engagement" has made me check out of sports media except for watching actual games/matches.
