What makes it special are the characters you’ll meet and the uplifting ride they’ll take you on. If you’re looking for an escape - or know someone who’d love one - we’d appreciate your support.

It’s a story about friendship, second chances, and connection - the kind of book that lets you step out of the noise of everyday life for a little while. The background setting happens to be the elegance of cruising around the beauty of the Caribbean islands.

I thought it ended sooner. My point was his best scenario, unfortunately, is not pitching for Jays, pitching to find his form without pressure, and looking to next year. He’s competitive and likely won’t like that answer, but it’s what’s best for his career right now.

Right. The issue is with his 30-day rehab line. That’s why I asked about options, because that would be necessary after the rehab. Minors season ends sooner, which is why I suggested Sept with club but off roster, working bullpens on turn to hone, hoping off season fully resets him.

As cool as a story that this could have been (shades of Stro’ back then), this looks like more of a disaster bringing him in among the success they are having now. For me, he needs to pitch on turn in the minors until that season is done, and hang in the dugout for Sept, MAYBE on the taxi squad.

Does he still have minor league options left?

Maybe both if Swanson comes back too.

I see this as #FireAtkins in desperation mode. He can’t admit to the mistake of bringing in Vogelbach, no matter how +ve he is in the clubhouse. This is a him move, not a put the club in the best position move.
