Fighting Games and JRPG enjoyer. Go Leafs. I have albums: https://linktr.ee/spiegz
Enjoyed this WAY more than I expected to. Really cool to chill with the heroes in their downtime, the strategy gameplay was a ton of fun with how it made you think about the environment, the cutscenes had some production value behind them.
Great.

Was SO excited to hear the sequel dropped. Just some good old dice rolling, text reading fun with some fantastic art.
On one playthrough, it was tough to see how much my decisions *really* mattered, but honestly I was here for narrative and grinding resources. Real good.

Nice and short campaign, easy enough to beat over a weekend. The star is definitely the MP, but I still really like to see games with flesged out campaigns. Even if they err a little on the nonsensical side.
Was fun but honestly I could not tell you what happened.

HAD to get the platinum I could not get enough of it. Such a wonderful, beautiful, engaging and most of all FUN game.
Atsu is so dry and FUNNY.
Can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like. Truly EXCELLENT.

TAKEZO THE UNRIVALED IS NOW TAKEZO THE UNALIVED.

Such a treat to go back and remember where everything started.
Still very much feels like a budget title, but with the scope and scale of what this game sets up, it’s incredible what the devs have managed to do.

Still excellent. Made me miss how much they leveled up Miles’ kit for Spider-Man 2. Still found its ‘Christmas in New York’ setting to be super charming.
I’ve now platinumed all 3 Spider-Man games 😁

First time going through it. Was never interested in the 360 days. Tried like.. 20 minutes of the remaster and wasn’t into it.
But Alan Wake 2 was on sale and the hype got to me. INCREDIBLE game once I gave it a chance. Weird. Surreal. Intriguing. I’m better off for playing it.

Ran through Gears: Ultimate last year after the E Day reveal, so it was def too early for another play through. But when someone tells me they’ve never played Gears, I’m obligated to run through it with them.
Still fun. Still excellent. Chainsaw still brrrrrrr.

Goes hard on the presentation. It's a treatise on perspective and that comes through with how much care is given to every camera angle and moment. A little slow at times (legit, you move SO slow) as a way to force you look around, but it worked and I was immersed.

So good. Curious if they'll do more with the IP or if the trilogy is enough. The world has a lot to it. Battle system was so fun and allowed for a lot of light puzzling over the best way to proceed. Cute, short/focused, and heartfelt.

Unbelievable game. Alex Jordan voicing 10 different versions of the character was incredible. So many heavy themes explored. Finding motivation, dealing with insecurity, confronting ego.
All wrapped up in satisfying challenges that required thinking and logistics.
PEAK.

Loved how the campaign missions curated particular types of challenges in varying ships/loadouts. The missions didn't feel as samey as I thought they would, and by the end I'd been tested so thoroughly I found myself navigating tight manuevres with ease.
VERY satisfying
