Oh, forgot to mention that the Mass Bail Fund will likely pay any bail set here. They’re the best.
And if you aren’t arrested but others are, it’s nice to show up and support them at their arraignment and follow-up court dates (but it’s always on weekday mornings, so not very possible for most ppl)

Additional bail may be set at the arraignment hearing, or you may be released on your own recognizance (no post-arraignment bail) until your follow-up hearing.
