Now see here, madame!

I may be polyamorous, but it's already hard enough paying for dates with my partner!

Interesting point about Fortnite. In terms of time since it premiered, it's nearly retro (to me at least). But since it's continually evolving and changing with the times, will it actually ever be retro? I'd never considered this before.

I recently acquired a PS3 for the first time, because I was X360 for that generation. A younger coworker helped me set it up, and when we got it working, he was like, "That startup sound was a core childhood memory."

This dude is 20 years my junior. 🤣

I remember when the 360 and the PS3 were about to come out, and there were... "passionate" debates about how Sony was being arrogant about its console pricing, and how much better the 360 would or wouldn't be. I ended up on the 360 side of that generation, and really enjoyed it.

Born in 1977, and my back is fine... except when it isn't. 🤣😵😫

I don't know about you, but for me last week was like 50 years ago.

Me too. I can't help feeling there's a certain amount of denial fueling those looks. 🤣

I understand that feeling. It makes it easy to point to those a example of how retro may not mean new anymore, but it also doesn't mean outdated or bad.

Retro means different things to different people, and that's fine.

According to a poll I did on my YouTube channel, the plurality considered G6 the true starting point of retro. For me it's G7 and before.

The way I see it, 20 years back is a fairly safe point to start calling something retro.
