On the subject of DEI, there is only one question - does predjudice exist in society, whether against minorities, women, disabled people etc? It might not exist in everyone, but if it exists anywhere then oversight of organisations is essential so that predjudice does not influence decision making.

Mark Carney should know the saying that it is good to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. When Trump visits the UK and meets the King, I am sure he will be reminded that he is meeting the head of state for the UK, Canada and Australia.
