Maybe possibly due to the visual aspect of punk/queer being meaningless now / reduced to pure aesthetic? Everyone's looks are all over the place, like u could look punk as hell but be making 6 figures designing like, intersectional crypto or something

When i used to work at sbux id give anyone id ever seen before out of work whatever they wanted, now i only give my actual friends something free, if even that

W/re normal jobs i personally flip flop from charging full price to deep discount/full discount cuz i want my job to stay open so i can keep having a job, and my job is barely getting by. margins are a lot higher these days and i dont work at starbux, if i worked sbux stuff would be free

I think about this W/re handmade things... it used to feel like " i made this to share and if i make a lil money or my money back, cool" now it feels like "stuff i make is my job" and i think that comes from, obviously, how expensive it is to live now so ppl gotta take their stuff more serious?
