Post script: I believe I misunderstood the labels of Fantasy genres. I'll figure it out as I go fuggit. Dark fantasy seems the best label for now.

2/2 World of Darkness (specifically Hunter the Parentings take) in influences for style. Knowing me despite the horrors it might not be completely dour. This synopsis is getting a bit long tho. For now I sit here and fester in my anxiety before work.

I can see the vision. One of the first steps I do is often sketch the 'skeleton' of the piece I just don't do as much, I'll have to try this. Thanks so much for showing me a peak under the hood

So you just block out the depth and shape with sketching. I'll have to try this some time. Perhaps focusing on detail work closer to the end will making lining/inking a bit more bareable djfjfjfj

Nah rn I'm struggling the most with the line art and AUGH THESE LINES. TEXTURED BUT CLEAN. Maybe this is my calling to stop focusing so hard at large pieces and work with a smaller pixel-esque canvas idk
