My condolences. I also lost my dog to cancer. 7 years later I still hope to hear her running to the front door, even though I know it will never happen.

Personally I hate those “it gets better” campaigns. Because I wanted to stop hurting NOW. Because NOW I am in indescribable pain. (1)
