like a silicone casting? cages have to be rigid. for coating what i can garner looking at silicone is it needs a sealer anyway which are typically toxic. food grade epoxy might work but fuck its super hard to work with and to get an even coat. i might try epoxy as a final clear layer though.

this is going to be not actually usable, im using a bunch of non-skin safe filler and sealer and paints. this is yesterday before i started filling the inside, i just finished my first spray and will sand that down tomorrow. i love sanding btw, very cathartic and a good time filler during work hours
