Cranky dog loving old bloke
Navy veteran, Riot Veteran, cynic, depressive, anti establishment,
Photographer, wanderer and wonderer.
47 years ago I was in London for Gay PPride Week, and recall the GLF. Yet here we are still segregating colour and sexual;ity , integration should be the goal, and continuing to celebrate differences prometes segregation, I am many things but just a human being .

So why hasn't Starmer got the money to stop this? Too busy buying submarines useless in the channel.
June 2, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Defence spending, except for the south coast.
June 2, 2025 at 5:49 PM
If only those pesky rubber boats were armed eh?
June 2, 2025 at 5:47 PM

Sunday bloody Sunday, a song about soldiers killing unarmed civilians. Very appropriate.

It is lots of old bunkers from the war on the far side. The causeway is great fun, sorry to nag but do check the tides. There's a website I think. Have fun.

Profits is right that's the main reason. Built cheap, poor construction not sustainable. Nationwide corps. Make the uni responsible for all student accommodation, at least thatmight encourage local spending on construction and feed money back to the supposedly skint Uni.

Unless you like crowds avoid the castle Lawnmarket and Royal Mile. The zoo is good bit pricey, Calton Hill less of a climb than Arthur's seat and great views. National museum is great but busy, Cramond Island an adventure for kids just check the tides first very important.

Brexit failed because people voted for it to stop immigration, and it just got worse. If the cowards in Westminster had dealt with immigration years ago before it got out of hand we'd still be in the EU.

He thinks he's untouchable, hiding behind the antisemitism and the usual global paranoid fear of criticising anything Jewish. Times up mate, that's over when you murder children. I notice the USA is very quiet too.

I know how you feel, I'm working to do the same, getting stuff valued by people without a monetary interest is impossible.

There is never anything in my bank account because the benefit payments are never enough.

I bet AA Milne would be well pleased at this denegrationof his work. Using a children's book to make a cheap insult. Well done.

So where do people driving electric cars get there fix then? Alcohol and petrol two things society needs more of.

A slow week for councillors? Just a normal week then, although slow is probably hard work for that lot.

My building is 15/20 years old, so I assume reasonably insulated, all double glazed. Heating is a gas boiler CH system. I am 66 and have not used the Central heating since I moved in 3 years ago, I am in Scotland. I wear thermals and use a blanket when sitting in the lounge. Who uses all the gas?

But why does Scotland need a consulate? Being part of the UK isn't one official presence enough? I don't understand your money reference though?
April 17, 2025 at 7:53 AM
I am a 66 year old man, I've been attacked for being a hippy, a drunk and a rioters. There will always be men and women looking for an excuse to use violence and hatred to justify their own insecurities.
