A tiny #Egyptian #frog amulet, made of carnelian (height 0.9 cm). Because of their numerous offspring, #frogs were considered a symbol of fertility.
Dating c. 1540-1296 BC, New Kingdom.

An #Egyptian perfume vessel in the shape of two trussed #ducks. Trussed ducks were a common offering to the dead. Presumably the vessel was made for the tomb and not to be used in daily life. From Thebes, #Egypt, dating ca. 1580–1550 BC.
