I don't see why you wouldn't have both over there, I'm sure you'll find it. S. medium likes bog lawns. Very sunny and exposed. S. divinum likes bog edges and growing with other vegetation.
Not always the case, of course, but as a general habitat :)

By the pores in the bottom third of the branch leaf. It's not always clear, but you often find pretty clear-cut cases between S. divinum and S. medium in Norway.

90% :) it could be S. flexuosum too, but I doubt it.
It's not S. palustre or the other sphagnum subgenus sphagnum ones. It's 100% a sphagnum subgenus cuspidatum one
