We’ve just come back from a wonderful trip on the Spirit of Queensland to top off an excellent trip to Cairns. This is an amazing country to get out and explore. Do it in style!

Enjoyed being part of the AEU protest in Niddrie yesterday. It was wonderful hearing the public support us. Fair funding like was promised. Not too much to ask.

Eurovision should go back to just one lot of votes, this second lot is quite a humiliating experience for some countries and seems cruel and unnecessarily drawn out.

Great Tina Arena show on Friday night at the Palais in St Kilda. A pity some people drank too much and got rowdy. Tina was absolutely spot on with her very succinct reminder to act appropriately and not disrupt others enjoyment. At no time was she rude, I admired her restraint.

Big pharma’s plea to Trump to punish Australia for cheaper medicines
US medical giants say Australia’s Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme is an “egregious and discriminatory” program that Trump should target in the next wave of tariffs.

Exactly. Two-faced. Just like his expectation that everyone invest in US imports, but face tariffs on their own exports.

Let’s be clear. Privatization of the post office will mean some addresses simply will not be covered because they are unprofitable. Think of it like our private healthcare system.

Looking forward to seeing Australian perspectives on here, not quite what I like to follow yet, but time will tell.
