BREATH OF THE DRAGON follows an arrogant kid with who enters a martial arts competition--but the deep worldbuilding, the corruption, and the level of shit said character ends up in, are way beyond other martial arts stories. Couldn't stop listening to this one. Now my house is sparkling clean.

TO SHAPE A DRAGON'S BREATH is a blast; a dragon academy unlike any other and a main character who is very good at telling her colonizers, "No, you move." Read like an Indigenous fanfic of Temeraire and I didn't know how much I needed that!

It saddens me that some of my colleagues decided to let their work be fed into the Content Regurgitation Machine. GenAI is neither inevitable nor unstoppable. You have more power than you think. GenAI cannot exist without us, without human creativity and labor. We can starve it.
