What's the point of trying to save money? It doesn't seem likely I could possibly save enough to be worth anything once the economy collapses, and what would it be worth if I'm arrested for being not cis/het/Christian/conservative

I'm terrified the next step here is going to be rounding up all trans and queer folks. I'm torn between wanting to make sure I'm in as good a financial position as I can be, and thinking it doesn't matter and I should just do what I can while I can
