Last thing, I do believe that labels use bots to inflate their sales. The only problem is that UMG has probably done that with Drake too. So really all major label artists suffer if that’s proven to be true.

The first pre trial motion mentions interscope as a subsidiary of UMG but not as a party in the dispute. Its also worth noting that interscope and UMG only license the rights to Kendrick’s music, so they may not even have a say in what gets released

Cause why not sue Kendrick as well? Why just UMG and not also interscope?
