I think the full article gets it right. The online right and Russian trolls got into the heads of an anti-vax contingent here. They were small but very angry and vocal and threatened the first family. That kind of thing doesn’t happen here and it’s not surprising she was done with it. Really sad.

As a New Zealander I do not think this is an accurate characterization. Jacinda remains very popular, but there was a small but very vocal anti-vax contingent who were getting very aggressive and threatening, making the first family’s life untenable in a country where those things don’t happen.

Sometimes it does, but usually I go in with the idea of having a common tone/voice in mind and the music helps me sync up!
