It actually does matter for making people actually want to vote for your party

The starkest thing about dems complaints about the calls to do more is how clearly they dont even consider it part of their jobs to channel the opinions and concerns of their constituents. They have lobotomized themselves into believing anything beyond existing procedure isnt part of doing politics

Dems still consistently outraise republicans across the board w/o relying on billionaires and running a dem against a dem in a blue city is very different than running a dem against a republican in a red state

The right’s tactic of not caring if something will “work” in the immediate but doing it anyway to grow support and momentum has been far more effective than the liberal “wait to act til everything perfectly aligns” approach. There needs to be an all fronts approach to excising pelosi/schumerism
