Consumed by the need to entertain, he routinely blows his own cover and must scramble out of the spotlight, evading pursuers and questions about who wants him and why.
A red-skinned Tiefling with an easy smile and a flair for the dramatic. His white long-brimmed, blue-banded hat gives way to his red horns. His lute in his hands ever at the ready. A born showman who attracts attention and trouble in equal measure. Lark lives to perform. But that’s a problem when he’s being hounded by dangerous bounty hunters and a small but dedicated fanbase. Cazrin has taught herself spellcasting by recovering her ancestress’s knowledge. A fearless experimenter, she will test any theory in the name of learning.
Dark haired and dark eyed human wizard, with silver and jade pin in her hair, and a floating spellbook at hand. Cazrin is a walking reference library who enthusiastically shares her knowledge whether you want it or not. Cazrin’s long-ago ancestress was a wizard who launched devastating attacks on elite institutions of magical learning in the belief that magic should be accessible to all. The horror of these actions prevents the Varaith family from using magic to this day. But Cazrin has taught herself the fundamentals of spellcasting by recovering scraps of her ancestress’s knowledge. A fearless experimenter, she will test any theory in the name of learning.

One of my favorite parts of my job is cover art. I get to work with incredible artists to bring characters and stories to life in clever ways to get people’s attention on the comic shelf. The covers for A Place Like Home are some of my favorite I’ve had the opportunity to shepherd to print. 10/13

I even told a remixed version of the first arc of the Canto comics to my son and his friend at a camping trip we were on last year. Sitting around the fire I told them of a small hero willing to give everything of himself to save his people and even the soul of the Shrouded Man. 8/13

There is something in the small clockwork man that epitomizes my favorite heroes. The axe-wielding champion shows courage in the face of antagonists far more powerful. It’s his unshaking drive to do the right thing in any way he can, to be a light in the darkness, to show steadfast kindness… 3/13

It's been hard to stop and find words for something that struck a deep, fundamental chord. 1/13
