The two creeks that Dr. Richard Smardon said filter into Oneida Lake from the Micron site are Youngs Creek and Shaver Creek. Both are a part of the larger Onondaga Creek system.

Dr. Rhea Jezer, chair of the Sierra Club's Central-Northern New York group, referenced Onondaga Lake (a recovering Superfund Site) and said that ecology has a unique way of repairing itself. Despite her concerns, she believes the same with the ecology around the Micron site.

Micron has promised in their FEIS that “Within the water resources study area, land use, topography, hydrology, permeability, underlying soil saturation, and runoff patterns would remain consistent with existing conditions, and no sediments, wastes, or hazardous chemicals would be introduced.”

The Pew Research Center conducted its survey over six days and randomly sampled over 5,000 adults living in the U.S. It's the second study the organization conducted this year, as they did one in March. This recent survey found trust had decreased since March.

Coleman capped off his regular season with 8 rushing touchdowns and over 400 rushing yards. He's the only senior in the backfield for the Brothers, and you can hear his leadership coming out after he scores: "I got this." That touchdown gave CBA the lead after struggling in the run game prior.

Sol Muñoz, Syracuse's Senior Public Information Officer, provided a great perspective on how groups like DeTrash impact the city. She also said that a big part of mitigating litter has been the Trash Cart Program, as long as people remember to shut the lids all the way.

After a few phone calls with Home HeadQuarters, I got their perspective that the 1935 S Salina St. location was never meant to be a permanent home for the food pantry. It was offered as a temporary stop after their last building fell apart.
