i highly recommend reading Letters From a Birmingham Jail, obviously if you havent, but especially if you have! I haven’t read it since HS but looking at it through a lense of the current political state of the world is comforting (the sense of it can be done), and just overall important.

This is so profound and obviously applies across time. I think it is so important to explain this to those of our communities who do not “care” because it does not “affect them” (yes, community includes education, reaching past comfort and shared ideology)
